Yes. A standard roof inspection anywhere in our service area is free and carries no obligation. You get photographs of what we find and a written estimate for any work we recommend.

For routine inspections and estimates we normally schedule within a few days. Active leaks take priority — call us and we will get temporary protection on the roof as quickly as we can.

Our home ground is the whole Coachella Valley — Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, Coachella, Bermuda Dunes and Thousand Palms. We also travel for work in Riverside and the Inland Empire, Greater Los Angeles and Orange County. Travel is quoted up front and included in the price. If you are near the edge of that, call and ask.

It depends on size, pitch, complexity, the material you choose and what we find once the old roof is off. Anyone quoting a firm number without seeing the roof is guessing. Our written estimates itemise materials, labour and any deck repair allowance so you can compare bids honestly.

Insurance generally covers sudden, accidental damage such as a wind or storm event — not wear, age or deferred maintenance. We document damage thoroughly, provide the scope and measurements your carrier needs, and can be present when the adjuster inspects. If the failure is age rather than a covered event, we will tell you before you file.

Often, yes — and we will say so when it is the better value. The honest test is whether the underlying layer still has service life. Repairing one bad valley on a roof with years left is smart; repairing a roof whose underlayment has failed across the board just means paying twice.

We dry in the roof the same day we tear off. The finished system then goes on over the following days depending on size and material — typically two to four days for a shingle reroof and a week or more for tile.

Frequently. On many desert tile roofs the tile is fine and only the underlayment has failed. We lift and stack the tile, replace the underlayment, swap out broken pieces and reset it — a lift-and-reset costs less than an all-new tile roof and keeps the house looking identical.

Yes. Where the city or county requires a permit for the work, we pull it and coordinate the inspections.

Clean. We protect landscaping, pool decks and hardscape before we start, keep debris contained, and magnet-sweep for nails at the end of each working day.

Two separate things: the manufacturer covers the materials, and we cover our workmanship. Manufacturer coverage depends on the system and on it being installed complete and to specification — which is exactly why we install full systems rather than mixing components. We put the specific terms for your project in writing with the estimate.

For sloped residential roofs, concrete or clay tile is hard to beat here — it shades the deck, handles UV and lasts decades, provided the underlayment is maintained. For low-slope and flat roofs, a torch-applied modified bitumen system or a reflective elastomeric coating over a sound substrate both perform well. The right answer depends on your roof, your budget and how long you plan to keep the property.
